3 days of (almost) non-stop music takes its toll on you. It was super fun though and I would totally do it again in a heartbeat. Especially when you get to see so many awesome bands that you haven't had the chance to see yet. Such as Iron & Wine, Death Cab For Cutie, Broken Social Scene, Wilco, The New Pornographers & The Shins. The crew for Lollapalooza was super awesome and it seemed that they actually cared about you staying hydrated so you wouldn't die. I didn't see very many people being carried out or fall over and not get up. Which is more than I can say for the first band at warped tour this year.
The best part?
I'm not sunburned.
Also, I've decided that I hate Chicago less each time I go there. I may actually start liking it eventually.
Top 3 Performances
1. Iron & Wine (Sam played my favorite song.)
2. Death Cab For Cutie
3. Broken Social Scene & Wilco (tie)

The only thing I didn't like was the fact that there was so much construction going on in Chicago.
Happy anniversary, Chris & Bethany. And thank you so, so much for everything you did for Smitty & I.
